Windows for Warriors Returns: Nominate a Deserving Local Veteran

At MPIRE Improvements, we believe strong communities are built by people who serve, sacrifice, and look out for their neighbors. Windows for Warriors is our opportunity to recognize a local veteran and give something meaningful in return.

This year, one deserving veteran homeowner will receive new Pella replacement windows, including professional installation by the MPIRE Improvements team.

Celebrating Last Year’s Recipient

Last year, we had the honor of selecting Schyler and Erin Cook of Ellinwood for Windows for Warriors.

Schyler served on active duty and continues to serve through the Kansas National Guard. He also serves our local community as a firefighter with the Great Bend Fire Department. Together, Schyler and Erin are raising their two children in Ellinwood, Kansas.

MPIRE Improvements was proud to install new Pella windows in the Cook family’s home. It was a small way to express our gratitude for Schyler’s dedication, sacrifice, and continued service.

Their completed project is a reminder of what Windows for Warriors is all about: neighbors coming together to recognize someone who has given so much to others.

Help Us Find This Year’s Recipient

We are now accepting nominations for this year’s Windows for Warriors recipient.

You may nominate a deserving veteran—or veterans may nominate themselves. Tell us about their service, their need for home improvements, and the difference new windows could make in their home.

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered, the nominee must:

• Be a veteran of the United States Armed Forces

• Own and reside in the nominated home

• Live in the Barton County, Kansas, area

A panel of judges will review eligible nominations and select one recipient based on factors including the veteran’s story, their need for home improvements, and the potential impact of the project.

What the Recipient Will Receive

The selected veteran will receive replacement of the home’s residential windows with new Pella windows. The award includes the windows, labor, and professional installation by MPIRE Improvements.

Submit Your Nomination by October 15

Nominations must be submitted by October 15 at 11:59 p.m. CST. We will announce the selected recipient on Veterans Day, November 11.
